Valentine’s first ever signing – an enigmatic free association of artists, musicians, DJs and filmmakers. Their debut self-titled EP remains one of our most treasured and interesting releases – an unexpected hit in Eastern Europe and various other places we’ve never quite figured out why or how. Lead track Erotic/Narcotic has subsequently showed up in a fair few places since its original release in October 2001 – not least of all a radically remixed floor-filling version on the first Valentine Sampler. Five years in the making, the self-styled 'ten man army' finally delivered their sprawling, epic debut LP in December 2006. The Music Of Chance is a one-off experiment in writing and recording - the vast majority of it was produced and produced anonymously via post. Listen to the (rather spectacular) results here
